Fall has arrived. I know because we spent Friday afternoon raking and bagging the leaves that had already blanketed our front yard. We pulled our Halloween decorations out of the basement. And I was even tempted to make a trip to Dexter for pumpkins at Jenny's Farmer's Market and cider and donuts from Dexter Cider Mill, but we'll save that for next weekend! I learned, after our first year here, that if I tried to buy a pumpkin early, the squirrels would eat it before Halloween even arrived.
So we spent our time playing outside (on Sunday anyway) and watching daddy play softball.
